My telephone line has been transferred to sky today so had to remove my trusty old sagem 800 for a new Sagem router.
Running Vista the PC will not recognise the router, everythings plugged in correctly without doubt, all the correct lights are illuminated on the front. But the PC will just not identify the router, any ideas?
To prove the router is working I connected my 2nd pc (xp) through the 2nd ethernet port and here I am on yahoo answers.

Then make sure u dont have any Static Ip configured in ur comp %26amp; Repair the connection once ..
Reply:if you have install SKY broadband properly then it should recognise your router and also make sure that CD is compatible with Vista.
and do it other way around
connect your router and search for new hardware and if it found install from CD.
Check the your explorer setting ----%26gt; to tools----%26gt; Internet option----%26gt;connection and check is there any difference
