is there a way to connect a computer to the internet via the plug sockets in a house...
i heard theres a way if you connect the modem to the mains and then the reciver onto computer the internet works...am i right?
im basically wanting to move my computer into a different room but this particular room doesnt have a phone socket and im not planning on using a router...
can i use on of the home network plugs?

yes this is possible, but if you dont want to spring for a router, then I doubt your willing to pay for the special equipment for this, either.
