Port Forwarding?

I am a gamer and my game requires that I enable port forwording on my modem. I know it is possible. I am using RoadRunner and the modem I have has no information (manufactor, model, ect.). How would I come about doing this? thanks.
Port Forwarding?
Do you have a router (wireless or standard) as well or is your computer hooked up directly to the modem?
Port Forwarding?
Modems don%26#039;t normally require port forwarding are you sure you don%26#039;t mean you need to forward on a router?
Reply:In order to help you further, someone is going to have to know more about the type of modem you have. Each one has it%26#039;s own way of being configured.

Look up ANYTHING on the modem - even if the number looks like it could be a part number.

Contact roadrunner for help, they should be able to assist you.

Another possibility is to see what ports are open on the modem. You could possibly port scan the modem to see what ports are open and try to connect to that via your browser

example: http://[gateway ip]:PortNumber

If Roadrunner can%26#039;t help you, people here will need to know more.

Also, refer to the site below for the ports you will need to follow: They offer some help on cofiguring modems so maybe something there can help as well.
